About The Founder

Hi! I’m Emma, and the proud founder of Underwater. Despite just being a high school student, I started Underwater as a way to turn my love of the ocean into something tangible I’ve always been drawn to the watercolor art, and I wanted to align this style with the feeling of being by the shore. Every design begins by hand and is inspired by being near the water, especially the beaches of the east coast. Underwater aims to make pieces that feel effortless, intentional, and calm, for something you’d throw on after a day at the beach and never want to take off.
